Been working on this motor forever and had it running great
But after I went all the way across the lake I tryed crankign my motor back up and it would not go into forward gear at all the motor would just jump all over the place. I was told that my shift linkage needs to be re adjusted can anyone instruct me on how ot do this properly so I wont have this problem again. And before anyone asks the lower unit is in great shape I rebuilt it myself and the gears themselvs are still solid. And the prop is not wobbly also if i manage to get it in gear i can still turn the prop and it will compress the motor.
