Hello, my name is John. I recently purchase a 1995 Nitro 170TF Rick Clund Addt. I do not think the motor on it is the original motor that came with the boat. It is a V6 but the motor case has no name on it. I have looked all over the engine for a serial number and the only number I can located is R8289772 on the top of the motor. I have searched the internet and can not find anything other than it seems to be an Evinrude. The other number I did find on the other side of the top of the motor is 092868. I am looking for some help identifing the manufacture of this motor, the HP and the actual year of the motor. Thanks.
