Bondo's always right, but seems a little tight lipped this morning, coffeepot must still be perking, what he's telling you is your motor only needs three things to run. Compression, hot spark, and fuel.
Always test compression to ensure the motor is mechanically capable of running using any half decent screw-in compression tester. The actual number varies with the quality of the gauge, what you are concerned with is that all cyl's make very near the same pressure.
Then test the ignition to ensure it is capable of making a hot blue arc of at least 7/16 inch.
If both compression and ignition check out fine then most likely there is a problem in the fuel system.
Test and repost your findings and we can proceed in the direction you findings indicate.
