23sptfish. congratulations on your new boat. i don't have any pics or diagrams for you. but a real good investment would be an oem service manual. it has lots of good pics in it along with how to fix things proper on it. mine is not the final word on anything for a boat as i'm just a boater too, not a mech. i think your gonna need mercrusier manual C-90-68648, vol. 1 and 2(same books i needed for my 72). 2 covers the drive and more. 1 covers the engine and other stuff. there is always the clymers or seloc manuals too. i've got the clymers but they just are not as hip as the oem service manaual, but better than nothing (some will disagree i think). <br />i think you can go to the mercruiser web site and find a phone number to call them and they will let ya know what manual to get for your rig too. they are kinda pricey though. if ya got time. once ya confirm what manuals you need. ya can get them on ebay sometimes. i got mine there for much less than the $75 or so dollars ea. mercruiser wanted, they are used but still have the pics and info in them. have fun with your new boat......
