I have to bang on the yellow electric motor to get it to work.Thinking its all corroded in side. Can I remove the motor without taking the entire engine off the boat? Looks liek 2 phillips head screws holding it on.

There's three screws. If you can get at them you can remove the mtr. If not you'll have to pull the t/t unit.

pulled the t/t on my 115 last night. support lower unit about 24" up, not on locks, support power head at the rear of boat so that there is no weight on t/t brackets remove steering cable bracket and large nut on cable (port side). remove the 3 bolts on left side bracket, remove both boat to bracket thru bolts. slide bracket off cable tube. you may be able to reach the bolts before removing all the way, hope that helped some.
