Primer solenoid questions?

Quick question guys, the primer solenoid on my engine(j90tleor) is leaking like crazy from just above the red lever when I engage it. I was wondering if anyone knew if I can buy a repair kit for this or if the whole thing needs replaced? The boat is a pain to start without it working! Thanks in advance!

Parts are available for the solenoid... no need to replace it.

One more quick one! Tach isn't working either. It is on the correct setting. Someone once told me its the rectifier or regulator. Any ideas? Or a link to what I might need?!

That primer solenoid is used on many models, as are rectifiers of various types. Exactly what engine are you speaking of?

Nice one Boobie
Did it ever work while you had it? When did it stop working?

Re: Primer solenoid questions?

It has not worked since I've owned it. I bought the boat late last season.
