I used my boat for 2.5yrs and has 86hrs on it so I decided I better change the water pump impeller. I pulled the pump off to find the pulley side seal had popped out and the housing was severly worn. The bearings were obviously damaged during assembly and now the shaft is slightly worn. I've debated about rebuilding this one but doubt its worth all my time. Are there any aftermarket conversions to get away from the brass housing that obviously doesn't hold up??
