3.8 carb on a 4.3

I found a donor boat to take parts off of to get my boat on the water. It's a 4 bbl 3.8. My 4.3 is currently a 2 bbl, Looking at part numbers the 4 bbl intake is the same as on the 4.3 but not the carb, so the question, Will the 4 bbl carb off the 3.8 be okay on the 4.3? I already searched the forum for similar questions and could not find any.

Ayuh,.... If it's a Rochester Quadra-jet, that carb has been used on everything from a 4 cylinder to Monster V8s...

Thanks for the quick reply, it's the q-jet. so no need to change anything in the carb... no jetting differences or anything,my carb experience is limited to dirt bikes and you wouldnt swap from one from a smaller engine to a larger one without rejetting that's the reason for my question
