In my haste to attach a ground wire to the upper aft bypass cover bolt my impact drill was in the tighten position and snapped the bolt. Is it imperative for me to replace this bolt or could I get by with a workaround? Could I just solder the interior of the bolt hole to secure everything? If I need to replace, is there a relatively easy way to get the broken part out of the block? I don't have dril press and I really really don't want to remove the powerhead. Thanks for any input.

Well, if it starts leaking, it will lean out that cylinder.
It may not leak now, but it might, and you will not notice it.

There are plenty of threads on here about drilling out bolts.

If you can remove the bypass cover and get vise grips on it, that would be best.

I use left hand drill bits, properly centered on the bolt. Careful, and heat, and PB Blaster. Usually gets them out.
