First time on iboat I'm hoping some of you guys can help. I have a 2004 evinrude 175 it seems to run terrible between 1500 and 2800 rpm everywhere else it seems to run like a champ. I recently purchased the motor in sept of last year it has 300 hrs on it when I installed the mtr the problem was there I took it two my local dealer and everything checked out on the computer. I changed the plugs this weekend and it seemed to improve as before I changed them it was between 1100 and 3000 rpm I indexed the plugs to with in 90 degrees of the injector. I read on the web that I should clean the carbon out. How and with what . And what else can I look for. Thanks in advance
