This went through. Now I am confused. In my other post I signed it DLH not Don Hansen, my username. Could that be it?

Look at you profile and click "recent posts by this member" or "Started posts" - something like that.

EDIT I just checked and you don't have any recent started threads or posts. Maybe you didn't click "submit".

Yes, I checked there too. Hey, I would never do something like not click "submit". Yea, sure. I'll try again.

Re: What happened to my thread?

im guessing that a waterproofing wood thread would have been posted in the restoration section.

from what i can see, there have been no deleted posts in the section.

i hate to say this .....but your thread may have never been submitted. and your work lost.

when you log on.....click the "remember me" icon beside your name.
often,,,,,when a post takes a long time to compose, the system will log you out.
that remember me button will keep you logged in.

when you hit submit, the puter will ask you lo log in....and try to re direct the post.....some make it....some dont.

Re: What happened to my thread?

What I have done on occasion is instead of hitting "Post Quick Reply", I hit the blue "Reply to Thread" button. That will wipe out a post about as quick as anything.
