Hey all, new to the site and not sure where to post this.
I'm rebuilding a 1987 Johnson 70HP outboard and while cleaning up one of the carbs I took the butterfly valve off to clean it up. I know now why they are never supposed to be taken off... The screws snapped and the bit wandered on the drill press when trying to remove them from the throttle shaft. I cannot buy a new throttle shaft because it is part of the carb assembly and I would like to not spend $200 to replace it.
EDIT: Sorry, jbash. Soliciting is not allowed. Please read and respect our rules. Thanks.
Thanks,
Jon
