Hello I traded for a 1974 20 ft pontoon with 40 HP Force. This is the first boat I have owned with a motor. I have reviewed the forums & reading like a sponge.

OEO 26574

what year would this be?


I was told the carb needed cleaned & timing adjusted. The people I got the boat from had owned it for 18 years. We put ear muffs on it & in turned over but would not seem to start.

Please share any links related to this motor year & any good pointers for trouble shooting.Thanks in advancde......:D
