How do I remove a seized bering carrier from my 1996 Johnson outboard, 70 hp motor?

I want to remove so I can replace the prop shaft seals. I recently found a leak coming from my propeller, it's milky white and after doing some research on the internet, it seems like replacing the prop seal is the thing to do....I bought a slide hammer but can not get this darn bering carrier off the lower unit. It seems like it's seized. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Heat is the only thing working. Propane at full torch!

Do not use acetylene it'll melt the case.

If you know how to use acetylene it works just fine as we use it down here in Fl all the time. You could also get some mapp gas as it's hotter than propane.
