I have a question I hope the experts here can help me with. I have a 2001 90 Mercury. Today I hooked it up to the muffs for the first time and noticed as it ran water leaking out where the shift shaft is and also out what looks like some sort of weep hole in the lower unit below the shift shaft location. Is this considered normal? There was plenty of water out the tell tale and the motor ran fine. I'm not sure if it has done this before, I'm just wondering if this is normal or a potential problem.
