In need of advice

I am looking at buying a 1983 Dynatrack 176SK 17 Foot boat. What is everyones opinion on these boats?

Okay, how is it powered- outboard? I/O? make and horsepower? Is this your first boat?

It's just about impossible to have an educated opinion 'from a distance' about ANY boat that's nearly 30 years old. It's all about the current condition of the hull, transom, stringers, interior, electrics and engine/drive. Brand doesn't matter at this stage in the boat's life.

Have you taken it for a sea trial yet? Does it run smoothly from idle to WOT (wide open throttle?) Does it shift without any drama, does the steering work smoothly from lock to lock? Are all the electricals working? How much is the seller asking for it?

If you don't know how to inspect and rate all of those components, bring someone who can.

It seems that Dynatrack owners are happy with their purchase...from what I have read. Be sure to check it well.

I have not takin it out yet i am looking at buying it from a dealer that states it runs fine but i am going to see it run this weekend i just needed some key elements to look for so i dont buy a POS lol
