4 horse power, 1972 Evinrude Light Twin missing parts

..... Took motor to a small shop, after 7 weeks with no return calls, I went to shop, only to find it closed, owner gone, my motor left outside. And no pull cord. Took it to a more reliable dealer, taken from motor is complete Starter assembly, anyone got a Light Twin that I might get parts from? possibly one with the lower unit gone, leaving the top end OK?

Holy crap! Talk about shoddy business ethics. This is part of what puts people out of business and they deserve it. :mad:

Anyhow, if you look in the "Top Secret File" at the top thread of this forum, you will find a list of salvage yards and at least half of them can help you. You can also put an ad at the AOMCI webvertise forum and there should be someone there who is willing to help. If you join up there, someone may even cut ya a better deal ;)

place an add in your local kijiji , you will be surprised at how many of those little motors are collecting dust in people garages.
