hi i have a 96/97 sylvan runabout with 40 horse mariner magnum 2 stroke 4cyl when purchased tach not functioning
but in place and wired, put a new teleflex actic in copied wiring turn over and needle moves to 800rpm then down to zero were it remains while running . So took cover off engine cover and looked for tach wire each cylinder has a green wire only one has a solid green????. wwwhen i touch my volt meter to black and ign i get a 11/12 on my display,when i touch black and grey (send) i get 9 ?????
