Hi, I just want some input and repair advise on a boat I am looking to buy. It is a 22' pontoon with a 2005 90 hp mercury 4 stroke. I was told it has not been used much (no hour meter) and it is idleing poor because of bad gas. They told me the compression was tested and all cylinders are around 150. They changed plugs and checked each one for spark. They have added fuel treatment and have only run it for about 20 minutes. I have been told this from a boat broker(seems honest, but never know). Any advise would be great! Or does anyone know a ball park price to rebuild carbs?
