I would not worry about the oil or what ever it is unless it is alot ( 5"-10" ) circle of oil on floor, remember a drop of oil will spread out alot. Oil out the prop could also be from the exaust too which is no big deal. Before using the boat service the lower unit. After some use check the lowerunit for milkey oil if none have fun fishing and if you have milkey water in the lower unit then idle to dock and replace seal and always replace the water pump if you are in there. 2 cycle mix oil has its own smell different from gear oil.
