I have a Suzuki DT75........ after a while he stops running.....after cleaning the spark plugs the motor will run.....

When it runs he smokes too much..... i think the oil injection injects too much oil........

I want to disconnect the oil lines of the carbs and pre mixing the fuel by myself

My question is..... wich mixture will be needed for this engine?

1:100 or 1:50?

Thanx........

ps....sorry for my bad english..... I'm from the Netherlands :D

I would run 50 to 1 and make sure you get the whole system purged of straight gas before undoing the oil to see if that is the problem.

may want to make sure all the linkages are where they are suppose to be

Re: Suzuki DT75 too much smoke

not sure about your model, but most dt suzuki,s have the oil pump drive by the crank and will seize up the pump and motor if oil isn.t suplyed to the pump! check your manual and if you do a search on here for mix vs oil injection, you will find out more! omc and early merc's had a puffer injection sys, so you could mix instead! some say you can remove the pump and shaft and make a cover! my 150 also pumps to the crank area,, so??? and yes its 1/50 mix
