Looking for a little HP

Hi,

I have a '94 5.0 FLPMDA which from my understanding produces 190hp. I'm not trying to sound like a kid trying to make 600hp out of my motor but am still curious if there are some relatively simply ways to get a little more power out of this engine. I don't see any choices really in the carburetor area in fact I doubt it would make much difference anyway, any other suggestions?

A little more horsepower will not make a noticeable difference. You could look into the performance part market and spend some $$$$.

5.8 long block is your best bet. Your 5.0 Marine Parts will change from your old block to the new.

Yea, you're probably correct. Was looking for that tip that everyone just kind of does when they have this engine or set up. Not always is one but just checking, still new to Regals and power boating in general.
