carb rebuild question

i have a1976 merc 115 hp inline 6 motor, i got a manual from library to rebuild carbs because motor was bogging down when took it out to lake. the reason i figurre it was the carbs that needed to be rebuilt because i had it done about 5 years ago doing the same thing. well to make a long story short i decided to do it myself , everything that i done ,i did by manual, new carb kits ect..., put it all back together and motor started up fine. after a few minutes, it stopped and cant get it started back up. it seems no gas is getting to carbs. fuel pump is ok because gas is coming through lines to carbs. is it something that i am missing, any help would be appreciated.

Are the inlet needles sticking in the seats? You did replace the floats, inlet needles and seatsthan? The original floats tend to disolve in today's gasoline and alcohol fuel. Carb cleaner can make the inlet needles stick in their seats.
