After 6 months I am getting close to finishing up the restoration of my 16' 1974 Seaswirl with OMC 120 and GM 2.5 inline motor.

Rebuilt the motor.
Rewired the boat.
Rebuilt the dash with new gauges
Reupholstered the new side panels I had to make along with the motor box.
Installed new carpet.
Installed Tru-Course steering.
Got all nav lights to working along with the blower motor, the horn, tilt system and bilge pump.
Now I am enjoying fitting it out with all the trick stuff I want for fishing such as Hummingbird 560 fish finder.Boat progress 9-17-11 001.jpgCompletion 3-17-12 001.jpg

Paid $400.00 for boat and trailer which I also rebuilt. I have roughly $1800.00 in the boat now so I am feeling pretty good about the whole thing. Took it to the lake today for its maiden voyage and everything worked as advertized. OH by the way check out my idea for storing fishing poles while underway.

Thanks for all the help over the months
Larry E
