Could you give me any idea of value of a 35hp military, navy seal turbo prop outboard motor. It runs like a top. It was given to me and I just wondered what value of it might be. I think it might be a 1996 year. Thanks

It is Model AML 35D, Motor serial G03739059, NSN 3H2805-01-267-5047. Think it is 1996 model. Mfg. Outboard Marine Corp.

its all about condition, without pics its next to impossible for anyone to come close to giving you a realistic number.

I am new to this site and trying to get photos on . Hope it works and thanks for any help on appx. value of motor. Was given to me and I am just curious about value of it. I put it on an old boat that I refurbished that was also given to me.

in my neck of the woods, that motor would go for between $700 and $1200, in good working condition. ( unless whatever is hidden inside the case that covers the prop..."turbo prop" adds some value, or reduces it?)
p.s....wouldnt mind knowing what is inside that cover!? have never seen a turbo prop setup.

That style jet is more valued than the standard outboard jet units, The motor is also far less common, I have come across them a cpl times. If I had it for sale I would ask / expect to get around $1600-1900

That's some cool stuff you found there Haffiman. Can be released from 150ft underwater and then pull started.

It has five flat blades which are about three inches wide at the end and about two inches where it attaches to the drive shaft at whatever degree pitch?
