1976 evinrude 35 hp

I have a 35 hp 1976 evinrude, compression is good on both cylinders, new plugs. However is no power at full throttle. the boat is a 16' flat bottom. I had a 15 horse on this boat previous to this motor, and the 15 horse pushes the boat faster! The motor runs very nicely at idle and full throttle, very smooth. Just no speed.

Any help would be appreciated

Pull one plug wire at a time when running and see if you have a dead cyl. IE. no spark.

went to check, motor fired, then nothing, no spark what so ever. I can't beleive my luck, started everytime before
