Good old fashioned Mercury bayonet connectors. What size (hose I.D.) is your fuel line assembly? That'll let us find some exact parts / part numbers.

You can get OEM/Merc or aftermarket (Sierra, Tempo), that does not mater much...but stick to metal/aluminum, the plastic ones are crap.

BTW, there's some inner parts (a piston-looking thing with a ring-seal, a spring) and a nipple missing from your engine side connector in the pic, do you have those?

I need the fuel line/primer bulb assembly also.
I do have the new parts for the engine side connector, its just not assembled.
I am looking at this item from iboats....will it do the job?

"Mercury Fuel Line Assembly, Aluminum Fittings" part # 034388-10LPA.
Assembly uses a low perm certified hose. 3/8" I.D. hose, bayonet style fuel line assembly; cast aluminum fittings. Connects to tank fitting 033419-10 (not included). Replaces OEM No# 32-80188A 2.

Thanks for reply

Re: Old fuel tank connectors

That fuel line assembly should work for you, 3/8" ID should be fine for any size outboard that would use a 6 gallon can. I have a Moeller low-perm fuel bulb in my fuel line, I am very happy with it (some of the old-stock OEM bulbs I have found break down with ethanol fuels).

Question though: do you intend to install a fuel/water separator? What size motor and type of boat?

No boat for it yet.
The motor is ?64 850, on a engine stand.

Re: Old fuel tank connectors

Nifty old Merc motor. Have you got a control box for it? If so, post a pic, I may have some spare decals to spice it up.

Personally, I would not buy a pre-made fuel line assembly. Lots of reasons why, I'll touch on some...

Many of the new low-perm fuel line assemblies are using Silverado 2000 or 3000 fuel hose (with the greyish-silver cover). Not only is that stuff ridiculously expensive, many have experienced separation of the inner low-perm liner with that particular hose.

Any pre-made assembly will come in a set length and be assembled with crimp-clamps. Makes customizing lengths, adding in fuel/water separator, replacing primer bulb when needed, etc. more difficult than it needs to be.

Instead I'd get a goodly length of Gates or Shields type B USCG approved fuel line, a Moeller low-perm primer bulb, some Sierra or OEM bayonet connectors, brass hose nipples, stainless hose clamps, and make my own assemblie(s). Likely won't cost you any more than a pre-made, and will be as customizeable as you please.
