1992 50hp Johnson vro conversion

I am trying to get my motor to run right... I took it out and the alarm went off and I had no highspeed Rebuilt carbs new tank and hose and ball no air in system red switch is pointed at the motor disconnected all wires tan purple rubber grommet did everything besides changed the fuel pump. When I pump the ball it runs good so I was wondering where and what pump to convert to. I am currently running premix and. Want to keep it that way

Pump should be rebuildable. You can get a kit with new diapraghm. Might wanna check your pulse limiter first and make sure its not clogged.

The thing runs fine until3/4 of throttle then it will shut down like its starving for fuel so I don't think it's the pulse hose most likely a fuel pump? Or is there something I'm missing why it just shuts down overheat alarm?
