85' 30hp manual start to electric

i have a 85' evinrude 30hp and just picked up a 88' 28hp spl that runs fine. can i take the stator plate, recifier, flywheel,starter and put those on my 30hp. any ideas of what not to do whould be awesome. they look identical with the covers off. thanks.and is there any way i can keep my pull start.looks like starter bracket wont work with the recoil together. thanks again

Looks like the flywheel, rectifier, starter bracket, starter and stator plate are all compatible. Not sure about the stator though? The part numbers don't match.
