I recently sold my 9.9 and want to upgrade to a 18-25hp short shaft . But after looking at the first 1 I noticed that it didn't rachet up. the motor is either up and out of the water or down to trim pin in water. I believe the feature is called shallow drive so you can rachet up the motor when in shallow water and run at idle speeds. The seller claimed none of these motors have it? Is this true I really want to buy a Merc
