I need advice on resolving a cooling issue with regard to a 2003 150TXRB V6 OB.

I've checked my thermo-switches and sensor and find no issues with these components.
My overheating buzzer activates and panel indicator flashes on a dead cold engine.

The engine is primarily used in salt water and am I diligent in flushing after every outing. I removed thermostats to inspect the back side of the cooling system and find some corrosion that will need addressing. I'm even seriously considering building a tank that will allow me to flush my engine at home.

Lacking time due to business travel and a rapidly approaching fishing season, I hope to attract the attention of a certified master technician in this forum and perhaps a recommendation of a reputable technician in the Mobile, AL area.

A timely reply will be very much appreciated,

well if it is buzzing on a cold engine then you do not actually have a cooling issue, you have a warning system failure. either a shorted out wire, bad temp sensor or bad warning horn.

Here is a list of Yamaha master techs, not sure how up to date it is but it may help you find a good place to take it to.

Or this may help http://www.yamahaoutboards.com/dealer-locator

What panel indicator is flashing?

Thanks for the list. The temperature indicator on my display flashes on and off... Typical of overheating when it happened once before... I forgot to reconnect my flush line.
