Trolling motor for Tracker V14

Hello Everyone,

I have a 14' Tracker V14 boat http://www.trackerboats.com/boat/?boat=3416 with a 25 HP evinrude 2 stroke motor. We are usually 3 guys fishing in my boat (200 lbs) a guy. I was wondering if a Minn Kota Endura 36lbs thrust trolling motor would be able to push my boat around? I can get a brand new trolling motor for 100$ and was curious to see if it was worth it. Let me know your opinions, thank you! :)

Much depends on how you troll. How fast, how far, how long, how windy, how much current. Generally speaking, 36 would be enough motor. However, very windy conditions, or high currents changes all that. You can't go too big -- just too small. Any plans for a bigger boat in the near future?

I just bought this boat so I am not planning on buying a new boat anytime soon. I will take a look at the prices for a trolling motor with more thrust but so far 100$ for a new trolling motor is the best deal I seen so far. Thank you for your opinion!
