I have a mercruiser bravo 2 leg (sr#0K013796 transom sr#0K122270) and would like to know if a gimbal ring set up for high performance applications part# 822374A17 will be able to replace the gimbal ring that I currently have. I realize that the senders will not work which is OK.

Thanks for your help

Yes, Merc part number 822374A17 GIMBAL RING ASSEMBLY (HI PERFORMANCE) (FOR USE WITHOUT TRIM SENDERS) will work on your transom gimbal housing serial number 0K122270.

Just so BIGNAMY realizes, all the Bravo famaily use the same driveshaft housing! Blackhawk as well. Difference being with all of them are the gear ratio's.
Gear housing being; Bravo I, 2, III.
Aside from that, your cruiser or houseboat should be happy. But why don't you want senders?

yes, but the op was concerned about the high performance gimbal ring, not the driveshaft (upper) housing

the difference in the gimbal ring is the bosses forward of the "ears" on the lower part of the ring - the high performance gimbal ring has a filled area where the standard ring has a "vented" area
