Hi. Im looking for engine cover for 1985 sea ray seville. My boat had wood cover that is totally rotten. I saw on line that there is a plastic engine cover for it....
anyone know where i could find one of those?

Ayuh,... On such an old boat, I imagine yer gotta be Buildin' yer own replacement....

i already cut the wood........... :) but i saw on line (can't remember what site) exactly the same cover, just made with plastic. Plastic like coolers (thick stuff) , so i thought to see if anyone maybe knows.

Ayuh,.... Anchors depend on the type of bottom encountered, 'n the size of boat,....

Generally speakin',.... That 1 oughta work just Fine, in most bottoms...

Its going to be send for most of the time. I got it, if is not good i'l just have to get bigger one.

anchor chain is a big thing to help....heavy chain attached to the anchor.....then the line.

the best is if you can run the length of the boat in chain.....but even a good 5 feet will work

ok, so i was just lucky to come across add with pic of a plastic engine cover. Its from 95 sea ray seville. Now i just need to find one...........

u lost me there.:).......... anyhow, a asked the guy in the WEST MARINE and he say that date on the bottle is a date of manufacture and that extinguisher is safe and OK 10 years after the date. On my extinguisher say that is ok 12 years after the date. And he mentioned that some police officers will tell you that date is expiration date - wrong. It's manufacture date! This is for newbies like me!!! Important to know if you don't want to pay ticket if you don't have to.

What is a purpose of chain on the anchor?
