mercury 1150 carb adjustment question

On my mercury 1150 70s model which way do I turn the fuel adjustment adjustment on the carbs to RICHEN the mixture

Counterclockwise (out) to go richer, clockwise (in) to go leaner. 1 3/4 turns out from just seated is a good starting point.

S/n number? You should buy an OEM Merc manual For that motor.
