Prop swapping years on Johnson OBs '89 to '71

Quick question: Would a prop from a 90 hp Johnson (1989) fit on a 85 hp Johnson (1971) or is it a completely different design? (don't have access to the 85 yet or I'd look myself)

Reason i ask is, I know that the 85 will need a prop and if they can't swap I want to start looking for a cheap replacement.

Yes, it will fit... Whether it's the correct prop for the set-up, won't know until you try it...

Thanks Chinewalker. I'm hoping that it'll be the correct size and pitch for the boat, if not it will at least give me a starting range to work with, then I can make the decision of either lower or higher.
