Choosing a props diamater

Yes I have a 1983 Johnson 90hp model j90tlcte and my prop is a 9x13 the motor is on a 17 ft Jason bass boat 9 inch diameter seem a little small any guidence would help

Keep working on getting the correct numbers off the prop... 13" x 19" sounds about right.

13" diameter is what it should be (13 1/2" should fit too). The 9 is most likely a 19 with paint in the one, or just a light stamping.
19p may be a bit much for a 90hp, a 17p may do a better job for you.

It appears to me that is intended for a 25 hp.its probably a 13 spline.I'm su8rprised if a 25 prop would fit a 90 prop shaft.
It is likely that setup would have about a 13 1/4" X 17 or 19" prop.
