Ignition switch problems

OK 1974 70 hp with no key. I cant find the number on the benzel so I can order a key. Its got a toggle switch for the choke. Can i install a push to choke switch with out damaging anything?

If you have a nice boat then why mouse it up -- Go get an complete ignition switch w/new keys and wire it in properly .
You will spend almost as much for just having a new key cut for your old switch !!
Also you can get it right and do away with the toggle switch !!

Yes you can. Its just a matter of moving the wire (I think purple/white) from the toggle switch to the new ignition switch.
