1991 Mariner 115 HP / Inline 6

I purchase a used bass boat , the motor is a 1991 Mariner 115 HP / Inline 6 / 3 carburetors / 2 stroke. Can anyone give any info on this motor ? How strong of a running motor is this ? What kind of rpm's wot - 5200 ?

The oil refill tank has been remove , so oil is mixed in your gas.

Doubt it's a 1991, believe last year of the inline 6 was 1988. Post your s/n. Even with oil injection don't think they ever had an onboard oil tank, pretty sure tank was in boat along with oil pump. The inline 6's like to rev, prop to run around 5600 at wot, but don't hold it there all day long.

Ditto on all of the above. Had one, an '88, last of the breed. I ran mine at 6000 at WOT but didn't do it for long periods of time; maybe 4 or 5 minutes. Was Direct Charged, very strong, very fuel efficient, excellent engine.

Here's the s/n off the motor .... 0B343614 , I kinda thought something was up , I ran the s/n and things were not
matching up ? Thanks for your input , Mike P.
