I'm sure there were a number of options on the boat for different trolling motors. Most likely, that was one of the lowest-thrust (cheapest) models, but there's nothing wrong with that. Minn Kota/Motorguide both make quality equipment, and if it works well and allows you to move efficiently while fishing in your chosen environment, then there's no reason to change. If you fish out in the open water, and frequently against the wind/waves, you may find that the trolling motor isn't able to keep up. If you fish mainly coves/shoreline on relatively calm days, you likely won't have any issues.
