oem or sierra ?

I just started my riser/elbow cleaning and gasket replacement.
vp 5.0 gl-e
I purchased sierra gasket # 18-4431.
Now that i read through a couple of posts i think i made a mistake and should
of bought oem new style vp 3863191
Are these sierra's ok or return them for oem?
I downloaded the instructions posted byDon S.

If it was my boat, I would use the OEM gaskets.

oem it is.
are there original style and an updated style
if so, is this the newer style (vp 3863191)
and do they come two to a kit or do i have to buy two kits.

They come as a set of 2 gaskets and the instructions. They should have updated instructions with them, if not here is a Service Bulletin that shows the additional sealing instructions.
