Hi,
I have an old 1979 40hp mercury and was wondering if the parts from a 74' 40hp will match up to it? I tried to look it up but i'm not sure how to cross reference motor's, they seem to be almost identical in apperance but i don't want to spend the money to try and bring our old one back to life.
