Based on research here, I'm looking for an 86+ 40-55hp OMC that I plan to put a jet pump on. My local market (Vancouver, BC) is a bit limited in terms of selection.
I've searched the Top Secret thread but most of those are parts salvagers.
Craigslist isn't very efficient for this type of search because I need to know that the motor checks out if I'm going to drive ten hours to grab a motor. And I will likely need it shipped to the border.
Currently searching ebay.
Does anyone know of suppliers that specialize in complete used outboards, that are reputable? Any help is appreciated.
