Im, new to the whole boat engines, but i have been a mechanic all my life.. Not sure where to start with this.. I have a 40hp evirude engine that I thought was locked up, but you can turn the fly
wheel about an inch in both directions. I also removed the plugs and used a small wooden dowl rod to see if the pistons were moving with the flywheel and they are?? Is there some way that the lower unit could be preventing the engine from turning?? Thanks in advance for any help..
