i am new to boats i have a bayliner that has omc out drive seems to me that it has alot of endplay on prop shaft does any one know what could be the couse of that
88 is the Cobra Drive.
You mean the side to side movement of the shaft?
Or the in and out movement of the prop?
Side play should be almost none.The bearing carrier might need new bearings?
Prop play can be as much as 1/8 in.
Start it with the prop off and see if there is a wobble of the shaft.
That's probably normal.
Any bit's and pieces when changing the oil?
You know how to fill it properly??Just making sure,it can cost a lot if filled wrong.J
