I have a 1990 Mag II, when the motor sets for two weeks or more the carbs fill will oil. I have had this in the shop 2 times for this reason. The carbs are full of oil again. What can be checked to correct this problem?
The check valve that supply's crankcase pressure to oil tank is not bleeding down causing oil to be forced thru fuel pump filling carbs. This is a fairly common problem and check your oil tank in boats as they will swell up like a balloon and also check cap on oil reservoir on top of the engine as pressure can crack them.The check valve part # is 21-8781051 and takes about 10 mins to fix....
