I thought I posted this earlier, but I must have not hit the send button. I have a 1987, mod.# 217-585750 7.5 hp Gamefisher outboard and after sealing up a leaking built in gas tank, I went to start it up and it started for a second, but gas was pouring out of the front of the carburator. I am guessing I have to rebuild the carburator and if this has been discussed before, I am sorry, I just want to know if maybe there might be something I am doing wrong and I can fix it without having to order a carb kit. I also need the website where I can get parts. I need a fuel shut off valve and a fuel hose male and female connector. Thanks everybody, this site is a great help!
