100hp evinrude chrome pump kit

I was looking at some impeller kits and there was a chrome pump kit available to buy. Does anyone know what this is? It was for a 79 evinrude 100 hp 100993S

they are for use in abrasive conditions, sand, silt, etc...< chrome being harder than the stainless liners and wear plates >..marineengine.com shows having 1 pump liner and several kits for your model..part no. 0389165

oh ok, ********** has the regular and the chrome in stock too. the chrome kit being $108.65, and the regular being $52.62. Being that I ride mostly on the Ouachita river in arkansas and mainly park on sand bars the chrome kit might be a good thing to invest in.
