I have a Yamaha CV85 with manual tilt. I have developed arthritis in my back so it's really hard for me to tilt the motor now.
I'd like to add a factory trim/tilt system but cannot locate a complete system (wiring harness, gauge, and switches) to go with the actuators etc.
Currently I'm looking for a 75 or 90 hp from 1988-1991 Parts Motor as I believe those are the interchangeable models and years. Hard to find for sure! So...Would a system from a Suzuki be interchangeable too? They are VERY close and if so I already know where there is a good working complete setup I could get on the cheap!
Yes...I have done a search on here and not found a system. Actuators yes, wiring no, gauge no, switches (motor mounted and helm) no. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Would prefer not to go with a Panther or CMC unit (if possible) as they would set the motor back further making it necessary for me to change the length of the steering (and I don't think they make the type I have any longer).
