hello I am knee deep in a re-power project (i/o to ob) and I have a line on a black max 200 it is a 1989 the bottom end is supposedly new (I'm guessing rebuilt) but the owner cant run it for me (no controls or stand to set it up on) he claims that he bought the engine from a mechanic and the mechanic said it was running the guy who has it has never used it.
so my questions are is this worth fixing if there is something big wrong with it
does it indicate a problem if all the cylinders have 135psi and one has 115psi
is 1000 to much to pay for this
and if it is worth it what should I look at when I go check it out

If you cant run it,i wouldnt buy it.If your real keen, find a stand or borrow from shop and take a battery.
Beware of the oldest line in the book.....bought from mechanic.....said it runs well.......ive never used it.What he is trying to say is WHAT??? It dont work??? and blame the invisible mechanic.BEWARE!!

Yes as thats pass the 10% variance allowed and a single cylinder will not carbon up and the other 5 be ok so forget about a decarbon...
